Year 4 Trip to Osmington Bay

Year 4 enjoyed a wonderful trip to Osmington Bay in May. 

Friday 10th May 2024

UPDATE: 8:15am

It's another beautiful day in Osmington Bay! The children enjoyed every moment of yesterday and last night with activities during the day including: a walk on the beach, archery and the infamous big swing! Last night, was a fun, sports night! The children have further activities today before leaving later for an expected 5:30pm arrival back to Chalfont St Peter. We will keep in touch via this page with news of the journey home and the children's estimated time of arrival. Have a great last day Year 4!

It's been another sunny day in Osmington Bay! The children are having a wonderful time and the latest from Mrs Valentine is that all is well. They are looking forward to enjoying their last night before returning home tomorrow. Here are some latest photos:

UPDATE: 11am

After a good nights sleep, the children and staff are energised and ready to go following their first night at Osmington Bay. They have had breakfast this morning and are already enjoying their first activities of the day before lunch. Some photos are shared below and it looks like they are having the most wonderful time! I spoke with Mrs Valentine this morning and she shared that all is well and the trip is going brilliantly! More photos will be shared later.

UPDATE: 8pm

The children have enjoyed an afternoon of activities, enjoyed their first meal and are now enjoying the experience of the group campfire! After all that, I'm sure they'll sleep well tonight! All is well and it's a great trip so far. More news will be shared tomorrow.

CSPA have arrived at Osmington Bay! All is well and the children and staff are currently enjoying their first activity!

UPDATE: 12:30pm

Our Year 4 children and members of staff left CSPA this morning full of excitement and ready for fun days ahead! After arriving safely at Knoll Beach in Studland and having enjoyed a lovely stop at the beach, the coaches have just left and are now making their way to PGL Osmington. The children are all happy and looking forward to arriving. There will be regular updates posted here so please check in when you can!
