Online Safety

Children at CSPA know about the importance of keeping safe online. Every year, each year group learns about online safely relevant to their age in their computing lessons. They also learn about being safe online in dedicated lessons in our PSHE curriculum programme as well as during assemblies and events.

The information shared below will help you ensure that your child is safe online and will reinforce the messages we give to the children in school.

The most important thing to be aware of is what your child is doing online and have open communication about their online activity. To support you with this, the UK Safer Internet Centre has provided some valuable advice in having those conversations with your child.

UK Safer Internet Centre - online challenges

CEOP (child exploitation and online protection) aims to inform parents about the risks which can occur in the online world. Their advice helps parents to feel more confident when talking to their child about online topics which can carry some sensitivity.
